The search combines automatically several terms and also searches only for a part of a term within project titles and abstracts. You can select several sectors (with Ctrl+click).
The sector ‘Special animals species’ excludes bovine, ovine, and bee projects.
The following examples demonstrate some search strings that use boolean full-text operators:
Finds data sets that contain at least one of the two words.
Finds data sets that contain both words.
Finds data sets that contain the word "wheat", but ranks data sets higher which also contain "variety".
Finds data sets that contain the word "wheat" but not the word "barley".
Finds data sets that contain words such as "wheat", "wheatstraw", "wheatbeer".
Finds data sets that contain the exact phrase "organic production". This would be "yield in organic production", but not "organic strawberry production"
Please note that the (") quotation marks, enclosing the phrase are operator characters that serve to separate the phrase. This is not about quotes that include the search string itself.
