Currently, there is disagreement about organic farming in the breeding goals for organic poultry breeding. The top performance bred to unilateral laying or fattening hybrids are susceptible to health problems and with approved animal feed to feed little demand. Measures such as the breeding of 'Ökohybride' or the breeding activities of birds breed are at best long term. In the short term ecological broilers is dependent on the available backgrounds. As alternatives to the fast-growing hybrids mast slowly growing hybrids or breed poultry may be considered. Such alternative origins, there is little overall test results. This is even more to attempt to under the conditions of organic farming. There are two origins of three different growth intensities (very slow, slow, medium) to check for two repetitions in two successive fattening cycles. With the aid of transponder technology is to use the outlet of the animals are examined in six compartments. The live weights of animals at entry, before the opening of outlets in the 5th - 6 Weeks of age and weighing at the depopulation means to collect from individual animals. The slaughter weights are noted at the slaughterhouse. A sample of 150 animals per passage is to be subjected to post mortem examination. Food consumption is recognized as compartment. Temperature and humidity are to be collected by data loggers. The aim of this research is to compare different slow growing provenances on the suitability for organic broilers. The results are to receive practical recommendations for the selection of suitable provenances.
