BMBF - Basic research energy 2020+
The Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) wants to initiate with its frameworkprogramme 'Basic Energy Research 2020 +' research activities, that contribute to the goal of doubling the energy productivity between 1990 and 2020. Therefore it is focused on areas of energy research, that, by fundamental, long-term research develop new technology options. For this also the latest theoretical insights from mathematical modeling as well as physical and chemical basic research shall be transferred to technological problems in energy technology. The frameworkprogramme is largely part of the 5th Energy Research Programme of the Federal Government of Germany.
