Research programme of the Research Institute for the Biology of Farm Animals
New Challenges for Agrarian and Nutritional Research lie in future tasks such as securing nutrition on a global scale, saving natural resources, maintaining biological diversity, enabling competition in view of economic globalisation, consideration and contemplation upon societal demands on animal production with special reference to animal welfare and environmental soundness and their compatibility with political agendas.
