Description:
Within the framework of environmental protection, the Baltic Sea and its bordering countries are of particular importance. With: * Poland * the Czech Republic as an important EC membership state and neighbour country * the Baltic States / the region of Kaliningrad * Hungary * Romania * Bulgaria The DBU has initiated an international scholarship programme, offering thus an additional qualification for up-and-coming scientists from those countries through a research stay in Germany.
