The Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) is one of the principal German centers for research on limnic ecosystems, and is the only institute in Europe that unites limnologists, hydrologists, chemists, microbiologists, fish ecologists, and fish biologists. The web-site contains a library service, information about research activities, job announcements and basic information about the institute.
