University of Osnabrueck
Future-oriented, progressive, and committed to regional and international partnerships – that’s the way the University of Osnabrück presents itself. The University was founded in 1973, and the first classes were held in 1974. Meanwhile, about ten thousand students are now registered in ten different Schools. Special research projects, interdisciplinary programs and projects, and several graduate colleges not only provide research for use in industry and business – they are also part of the University’s research and teaching profile, and are proof of the high standards the University sets for itself.
