Institute of Silviculture
The emphasis of the research carried out within the Institute of Silviculture is on the steering of forest ecosystems in order to achieve economic, ecological and social management goals. The research and teaching activities of the departments within the Institute of Silviculture concern the methods of steering the growth of trees and the development of forests, as well as the impacts of silvicultural treatments on the vegetation, site and mineral balances.
