The Department of Freshwater Conservation is part of the Faculty for Environmental Sciences and Process Engineering of BTU Cottbus which, together with the Departments of Hydrology and Water management, Wastewater Engineering and Water Technology, comprises the 'water' education and research network. The water education network offers, together with the 'soil' and 'air' networks, basic science and technology courses
