Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV)

The responsibility of the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) is about safe food, economically viable farms and environmentally and socially intact rural areas. The portfolio of the BMELV includes e.g. 10 Federal Research Centres. In seven of these Centres, several institutes carry out research projects relevant for developing countries.
