University of Jena
The Friedrich Schiller University of Jena is a clearly outlined classical university, which is divided into ten faculties. You can live in the countryside and arrive in a few minutes in the City - and vice versa. The borders are blurred - urban as intellectually. Because there are short routes in Jena in a figurative sense: through personal contacts between scientists and with the leaders in the city and the economy. This allows to initiate projects in research and teaching quickly and easily - and the creativity has free rein. The whole situation is openminded, many scientists from Jena will confirm and use this for innovative projects across disciplines.
