As an internationally recognized research university the Georg-August-University of Goettingen benefits from its traditional strengths: Almost all scientific disciplines are present in a total of 13 faculties. The Göttingen Center for Molecular Biosciences conducts research in biology, medicine, chemistry and agriculture.
