Plasticizing substances from food packaged in glass containers with metal lids - analytics and exposition
Description:
To tighten the metallic lids against the glass jars sealing gaskets are used. The gasket consist of a polymer and contains plasticizers like ESBO or phthalates. This substances can migrate from the gasket into the packed food. However, just a few data are available for an exposure estimation of the migrated plasticizers. This project has the objective to estimate the exposure to plasticizing substances from food packaged in glass containers with metal lids.
