Strategies for a sustainable biomass use in a European context
Description:
To increase the use of regenerative energy is a central aim of national and EU energy programs. The use of biomass is of high significance. In this context potential strategies for an increased use of biomass as solid, fluid or gaseous energy carriers in Germany, Europe and worldwide will be analyzed and evaluated. Based on the analysis recommendations shall be given, how to co-ordinate the environmental, energy, economic, and agricultural policies for an increased use of biomass in Germany and the EU.
