Fusarium head blight - control and prediction
Description:
The occurrence of distinct Fusarium species is determined at defined development stages of certain winter wheat varieties to deduce relationship between the occurrence of the species causing “Fusarium head blight” before flowering and the mycotoxin concentrations afterwards in the kernels. The results shall be used to predict whether fungicide application towards Fusarium infection is necessary or not.
