Goal is to increase smallholder agricultural production in sub-Saharan Africa while protecting the environment through evidence-based targeting of improved soil management recommendations by agricultural research and development organizations and the private sector. Purpose: National agricultural research organizations and private sector advisory services in sub-Saharan Africa adopt soil infrared spectroscopy to help target soil management and fertilizer recommendations
