Enhancing the economic value of organically produced cash crops by optimizing the management of soil fertility
Description:
Work package 5: In this WP are key parameters analyzed soil microbiology, accompanying studies of the health status of legumes on farms and in experimental systems is carried out and conducted studies on the localization of biotic and abiotic causes complexes to soil exhaustion and earnings weaknesses on farms. To investigate and supplement the issues arising in the WPs 1-4, on the one hand phytopathological diagnostics and bioassays to limit sources of income weaknesses can be used. Work package 6: This WP includes all other WPs, by means of a model represents a model plan-cost accounting, the relevant economic indicators for soil fertility. The aim is to quantify the cost-benefit ratios for steps to improve soil fertility through soil cultivation and the use of legumes as well as the identification of economically viable recommendations for farmers in consideration of environmental indicators.
