Beckmann Institute for bio-based product lines, eV (BIOP)
The BIOP - Institute will itself focus on the core disciplines of biosciences such as technical microbiology, bio-processing, bio-chemistry, bio-catalysis, and bio-technology. It also will giver support to interdisciplinary research and technology development. We do co-operate in the fielkds of agricultural, forestry research, process engineering and technology development. We do put special emphasis on the consequences of the use of these technologies and a whole process management, auditing and do apply total quality management schemes. We do deliver results on * assessment studies for the use of renewable resources * feasibility studies * product development * technology development * assessment studies on social, technological and environmental impacts of these technologies.
