Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla)
The Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla) has moved over to process organization. At the same time, new regional units in Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern Finland strengthen the impact of research in their regions. The regional directors are part of the central management of the organization and each holds responsibility of a number of official tasks of Metla.
