Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics
The Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics was founded in 1990 after reorganisation of the former Lithuanian Research Institute of Agricultural Economics, establishment of which comes back to 1959. The founder of the Institute is the Ministry of Agriculture. High importance is determined to analysis and prognosis of micro and macro processes in the field of scientific research and information management. The Institute is also working on important issues of agricultural and rural development.
