Institute for Agricultural Economics (CITA)
The 'Unidad de Economia Agraria' is a department dealing with agricultural economics which is part of a research institute (Servicio e Investigacion Agraria) depending from the regional government (Diputacion General de Aragon). It is an institution fully dedicated to undertake research and with close linkages with the regional agrofood system. The 'Unidad de Economía Agraria' has around 20 people, including researchers and postgraduate students undertaking doctoral and master theses. In Spain, it is considered as one of the best research institutes focused in agriculture.
