The Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering IBMT is your partner when it comes to the solution of individual tasks in the areas of Biomedical-/medical, sensor and measurement technology, ultrasound technology, health telematics, biotechnology and biohybrid technology, cryogenic (bio ) technology and nano (bio) technology, environmental engineering, material testing, home, air-conditioning and security systems and industrial process automation and in-line/on-line process control. The Fraunhofer IBMT has been working for 3 years in the field of stem cell research and was the only institute of the Fraunhofer Society, the approval number 18 and 19 of the Robert Koch Institute to import human embryonic stem cells.
