Description
At the Department of Ecology both are processed, ecological foundations as well as aspects of application. The comprehensive exploration of complex ecosystems and their theoretical description, functional analysis and modelling are building the main element of basic research at the Department. The work of the Department of Ecology also combine the results of applied research, by focusing on the integration level ecosystem in the framework of exploring the environment of the human society. The results of this ecological work enable the understanding of biological phenomena, as well as the technical application of the results of biology at the ecosystem level.
