Description
The Institute for Water Management, Hydrology and Agricultural Waterways (WAWI) belongs to the Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the Leibniz University of Hanover, and engages in teaching with the following aspects: surface hydrology, urban hydrology, groundwater hydrology, water management (water quantity and water quality management) and Water Management in the Tropics. International cooperation has a long tradition at WAWI. In addition to the cooperation in research, teaching and training with European and North American institutions, the advisory - and research activities in developing countries became a special focus.
