Description

One of the Institute's topics is research in the tropics. Research projects consider physical-geographical basic research as well as applied studies concerning climate, geomorphology and soils/land use in dry and moist tropics in Africa and Asia. Studies on sustainable agriculture are carried out in Africa. Climatological issues are investigated in Southeast Asia.
