Description

KErn consists of three areas science, knowledge transfer and business and is located at the two sites Kulmbach and Freising. The competence center nutrition aims to serve all project partners of food: state organizations like offices, educational, health and social care facilities, doctors and midwives, nutritional counseling, business, and not least to the media. Central task of KErn is to document the current knowledge and prepare it specifically to target groups. On this basis, KErn compiles: concepts for demonstration projects and events, the technical basis for food policy decisions and guidelines for the professional work of the agencies for food.
