The aim of the project is to compare four regulated and four unregulated drainage systems. The areas are equipped with appropriate monitoring (groundwater measuring points and data loggers) for this purpose. The drainage discharge is measured at the outlet. This should make it possible to temporarily store water and enable agricultural use as well as improve flood protection.
