The aim of the model and demonstration project "Integrated Production in Open-Field Vegetable Farming" is to support farms in a sustainable transformation process. A multitude of challenges, such as those related to fertilization, plant protection, and increasing demands from retailers and consumers regarding climate and environmental protection, necessitate continuous adaptation of production methods. At the same time, the economic viability of the farms must be ensured. In this project, innovative measures are implemented on model and demonstration farms and professionally monitored with regard to their feasibility and transferability to other farms. This allows for the targeted development of advisory recommendations for the transformation process and the identification of its limitations.
