Purpose of research: Applied research
The overall objective of the research project is to enhance food security and safety as well as alleviate poverty in Cameroon; by reducing grain (maize and cowpea) losses during storage using better locally available eco-friendly natural resource based insecticides from H. welwitschii. Another objective is to re-enforce links with German scientists with a view to long-lasting co-operation and extended networks.
