The European Cooperative Programme for Plant Genetic Resources (ECPGR) is coordinating the collection, conservation, evaluation and documentation of plant genetic resources on the pan-european level. Charged by the BMEL the institut advises the ECPGR and supports the further development of the cooperation in industrial plants and cereals as well as in the cross-cutting sectors data management systems and in situ management.
