Project code: JKI-SF-08-1254
Contract period: 01.11.2018 - 01.11.2019
Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
Keywords: CAP reorganization, impact analysis on abiotic ressources conservation, greening

Agriculture is the largest land user in Germany, with numerous positive and negative impacts on soil, water, air and climate. In order to implement the environmental and nature conservation objectives on agricultural land, greening is used in addition to agri-environmental support as part of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). In the GAPEVAL2 project, we assess the impact of the CAP reform on abiotic resource conservation in Germany. The main focus is on the design and implementation of greening. The JKI will carry out regional risk assessments with SYNOPS-GIS within the framework of the project and analyse the effects of CAP reform and changes in cultivation conditions on the environmental risk.
