In order to be able to spread the knowledge about cultivation and utilization of grain legumes, cooperations with agricultural farms are made, to demonstrate possibilities of growing and feeding with grain legumes. During field days, interested farmers can benefit from experience gained in the network. The network should enable a constant flow of information through regular meetings of 'legume-working-groups' for farmers. Furthermore, value chains are displayed to serve as an example for newcomers. Further information about species and variety in cultivation, as well as quantities and prices are collected via the online trading platform www.leguminosenmarkt.de and made available to the farmers. The interested public will also be informed about background of regional products.
