Purpose of research: Applied research

The allergenic potential of disperse yellow 3 and its metabolite 2-amino-p-cresol shall be investigated using the local lymph node assay. The studies are focussed on dose-response relationship and a possible cross sensitivity. The further aspect of a possible oral sensitization shall be studied using the vulcanizer mercaptobenzthiazol als model substance.; ; In parallel, it is intended to establish a method for measuring skin penetration in vitro.
