Purpose of research: Experimental development
The main purpose of the project is the further development of the steep slope harvester to a carrier system for modern application devices for steep slopes. The steep slope harvester is then useful as an effective application system for plant protection that is able to spare expensive resources. With the use of application systems that decreases the losses, the steep slope harvester makes a contribution to spare the amount of plant protection agents in steep slope viticulture. The project is able to increase the economic efficiency of the steep slope harvester. With the possibility to work in different lines simultaneously the steep slope harvester will be better accepted in viticulture. The steep slope harvester will be used for different purposes in different times, not only in the time of harvesting. So the steep slope harvester will make an enormous contribution to the support and preservation of steep slope viticulture.
