Purpose of research: Applied research

We will evaluate the utility of environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) for direct analysis of rhododendron leaf infections by phytophthora. Furthermore, ESEM will be applied for studying phytophthora leaf infections in different seasons. The intended studies will be in frame of WeGa-project AP2.4 'Prävention von Latenzschäden (Phytophthora) - Ursachen bei Rhododendron'.
