International Validation of a new gas-chromatographic method for effective determination of pesticide residues

Purpose of research: Basic research
A new and effective method for pesticide residue analysis has been published in the US. Preliminary results of the BfR and the food control laboratory Stuttgart confirm the published data. The potential efficiency of this method should be evaluated by this international validation study. Depending on the results it can be decided if this new method can substitute the old multi-residue method DFG S19 and is useful for the German food control system.
