Purpose of research: Basic research

Development and validation of an LC-MS/MS method for the determination of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) like fluortelomer alcohols, perfluorinated carboxylates (e.g. PFOA) and sulfonates (e.g. PFOS). This method shall be used for exploratory analysis of food contact materials e.g. paper and paperboard treated with perfluorinated compounds for food contact and food stimulants. A data collection for a risk assessment of the consumer shall be assessed.
