Development of an improved risk analysis for quarantine organisms on the example of the pine wood nematode
Project
Project code: JKI-AG-08-101
Contract period: 01.04.2003
- 30.06.2006
Purpose of research: Applied research
The aim is to prepare a pest risk assessment for the quarantine pest Bursaphelenchus xylophilus on the basis of actual data on the biology and pathogenicity of the nematode and its vector under European conditions by means of a computer based model to simulate different scenario of spreading e.g. dependent on different climatic conditions in Europe.
