Purpose of research: Applied research

Introduction of phage typing for Salmonella Paratyphi B dT+ (var. Java) isolates for further subtyping especially for isolates from the EU-Monitoring in broilers 2005/2006. In addition, this method will be used for further characterisation of S. Paratyphi B dT+ isolates in respect to epidemiological and outbreak investigations as well as forensic opinions.
