Purpose of research: Applied research
The goal of the project 'Tackling the fire blight pathogen in orchards without antibiotics' is to be sought by intensifying the search for new ways to fight the fire blight pathogen sustainable replacement of the antibiotic streptomycin, and a strong and successful fire fighting. In addition to long term in Germany are a unified forecasting methods are available to be used for operations against the fire blight pathogen in orchards nationwide. Therefore - based on past results of fire research - previously open questions handled in concentrated form in individual projects. The joint project is being processed by the beneficiaries of their research projects with the grant number 06HS032, 06HS033, 06HS034, 06HS035, 06HS036 and 06HS037.
