Project code: 2806HS039
Contract period: 22.05.2007 - 31.10.2010
Budget: 103,110 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research

In 2006 it was in Germany to massive crop losses in oilseed rape due to the resistance of pollen beetle to insecticides. Is therefore necessary to develop a resistance management strategy for securing the rape cultivation. As part of the project the following area will be modified: improving knowledge about the dynamics of regulation sizes for pollen beetle, with the aim of improving and refining the computer-based forecasting and decision support. For this purpose, shall mainly will affect the population dynamics, winter hardiness, propagation, distribution of infection and adverse effect of the pollen beetle key abiotic and biotic factors in order to provide data for computer-based predictions and control decisions. The key for the emergence of pollen beetle population dynamic gradations responsible parameters to be determined, if possible, to schedule this in the design of rapeseed cultivation system for the promotion of natural regulatory mechanisms and to reduce the risk of damage.
