Project code: 2805UM012/W
Contract period: 30.08.2006 - 30.07.2008
Budget: 63,008 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research

So far, the swine slaughter of animals before the separation unit input in the gondolas of the CO2-stunning equipment was necessary because the pod opening was on the short side. Meanwhile, CO2 systems are available, where a group of pigs at the same time spent by a drive gear next to the plant on the wide side of the gondola. As an alternative to moving the road to drive to be rebuilt in the way of this plan: an old plant that is placed instead of the new CO2 stunning gondola built by 90 °. These will include a functional solution for the conversion of slaughterhouses with the spatial and structural conditions for CO2-old plants on wildlife-friendly plants with CO2 gruppenweisem unit input into the anesthesia system will be tested in practice. These are measurements of parameters of the animal welfare and meat quality before and after implementation of the planned redesign of the drive to be carried out.
