Project code: JKI-PB-08-0074
Contract period: 01.01.2009 - 31.12.2013
Purpose of research: Applied research

Humus balancing aims to compute changes in humus contents of arable soils caused by cropping technologies. The humus demand within different fruit rotations needs to be quantified. Agricultural practices are to evaluate in respect of a long-term humus reproduction. Recommendations for site-specific humus levels should be prepared. The effects on soil protection and environmental risks should be assessed.
