Project code: JKI-BS-08-12
Contract period: 01.01.2012 - 31.12.2019
Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment

The residue analysis in the framework of cooperations involves both the determination of individual active ingredients as well as the multi-component screening of the chemical bees investigation (currently 280 substances) in bees and bee-relevant materials (plants, pollen, nectar, wax, honey, bee larvae). The samples are taken in the framework of defined issues or come from planned field trials. Current examples: multi-residue analysis of stored pollen bread of bee colonies that were exposed to different degrees of plant protection products. Based on this analysis of larvae and nurse bees fed with pollen bread, which was treated with pesticide active ingredients often found (F. Böhme). Determination of neonicotinoid residues in honey bees fed with drug-containing sugar solution, in the context of experiments on the effects on the foraging behavior of bees (Léa Tison).
