Production processes

Project code: JKI-BS-08-13
Contract period: 01.01.2013 - 31.12.2019
Purpose of research: Applied research

The question to be answered is, whether and to what extent imidacloprid is degraded in bees in the case of a bee poisoning incident on the way to the analytical laboratory under recommended transport conditions. The bees are fed with a single dose and frozen on site after different times and sent in this state to the laboratory. In parallel, fed (dead) bees are sent to the laboratory under different delivery conditions. All samples are analyzed for residues of imidacloprid and its metabolites 5-hydroxy-imidacloprid and imidacloprid-olefin.
