Purpose of research: Applied research
A best practise guideline was elaborated which aimed at a harmonisation of methods for combustion testing of furnaces for non-wood fuels (grain, straw) in order to facilitate European standards. This was aided by comparative tests and measurements in combustion laboratories of the partners and by a systematic error analysis.
