Project code: JKI-A-08-1236
Contract period: 01.01.2015 - 31.12.2019
Purpose of research: Applied research

Herbicide resistance in dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weed species can result from amino acid substitutions in the target protein (target-site resistance, TSR) or from non-target site mechanisms (enhanced metabolism or accelerated compartimentation of the herbicide, NTSR). To develop optimal herbicide resistance management strategies in the field it is necessary to understand the underlying resistance mechanisms. In this project, molecular tools to determine herbicide resistance will be established and refined.
