Purpose of research: Experimental development
With the creation of a logical-technical infrastructure for automatic documentation of agricultural products origin, a contribution is made to the proof of origin of food. At the end of the project, initial information on the production chains examined is available. Depending on whether it is a producer, service provider or consumer, the existing data on the product history will be available. In this way, the consumer interest according to regional origin of 'his' food can be better taken into account. Technologically, the system solution to be developed with the DoHLe project forms a functional core that can be expanded and supplemented in different directions. The thematic expansion of the system solution to include manufacturing companies and retailers is a logical development that goes beyond the scope of the project in order to generate qualified source information for processed products.
