Purpose of research: Applied research
Against the background of the International Year of Pulses 2016 this project aims to investigate whether innovative stored products such as soy are susceptible to infestation by stored-product pests. In view of the intensified cultivation and storage of novel commodities, additionally the emergence of a new, economically important pest spectrum as well as the risk of the introduction of new pest species need to be clarified.
