Purpose of research: Applied research
Efficacy trials to determine the efficacy of contact insecticides and fumigants used in stored product protection. Efficacy studies, including clarifications of special issues in the context of the European evaluation of pesticides. Adaptation of methods to the specific issues of the stored product protection (e.g. combination of stored goods and pesticides). Also new plant products which are relevant for the global nutrition such as soya and lupine should be examined.
